Hi! I’m Lauren. Thanks for visiting my blog. I’m a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, based in the NYC metro area. I’ve been nagging folks about healthy eating for almost 15 years (though my husband would swear that it’s felt longer). Thanks to being raised by a “crunchy” mom, wholesome & delicious foods have always been in my life. Now I want to share them with you.

After obtaining an RDN credential, I went on to earn a certificate of training in Adult Weight Management through the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. And like most dietitians spent many years working in the clinical setting. Witnessed the results of poor nutrition & lifestyle habits on health. Watched how easily those habits are passed to our children, unrecognized. Sometimes with devastating result. So I started writing. For those struggling to make better choices for themselves, and for those they love. Make a big, complicated topic a little simpler. And maybe also to show you that even dietitian moms aren’t perfect kale-eating robots (We eat cake too!).
